During the migration, however, the old URL structure and the URLs generated by the new theme got mixed up. The clash between old and new pages led to a serious loss of organic traffic, pages that weren’t indexed and users being sent to the wrong pages on the site. As the identities of category and product pages became blurred, both SEO performance and the customer experience suffered.

When we joined the project, we first identified the root causes with a comprehensive technical analysis and log review. By comparing historical site traffic with the current sitemap, we pinpointed in detail the pages that had been lost, needed redirecting or urgently needed re-optimising. In this first step, we made it clear how search engines were seeing the site and prepared a strategic roadmap for the fix.

SEO Work Carried Out

After identifying the technical and structural issues, we built a comprehensive SEO action plan to increase MyHairTR’s digital visibility and win back the lost organic traffic. By prioritising the steps on both the technical and the content side, we began restructuring the site in a healthy way and setting it up for sustainable growth.

Redirect Map and Clean URL Structure:
By comparing the old site logs with the new site, we made sure every old URL was redirected correctly. This gave search engines a clean URL structure to crawl the site quickly and accurately, and prevented wasted crawl budget.

Category and Product Page Optimisation:
We identified overlapping product and category pages and optimised each one for the keywords it targets. By clearly separating categories and products, we allowed every page to make the most of its own potential.

Schema Markup and Higher CTR:
Thanks to the schema markup (structured data) we added to product pages, product reviews started appearing in Google search results. As a result, the pages’ click-through rate (CTR) rose significantly.

Backlinks and Sustainability:
We ran targeted backlink work so the project would deliver healthy, lasting results. Links from relevant, authoritative sites both lifted rankings and laid a solid foundation for long-term SEO success.

Results

On-site confusion and indexing issues were eliminated.

Product and category pages started earning traffic separately from their own focus keywords.

The clean URL structure protected crawl budget and prevented unnecessary crawl load.

Organic visibility and clicks increased by more than 50%.

[150
130,125,127
post-9212","case_study","type-case_study","status-publish","hentry","case_study_category-link-insaasi","case_study_category-seo","case_study_category-teknik-seo","case_study_industry-saglik
["GET
